Training in the Use of Deadly Force

Welcome to Case Defensive Training Group ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, services, firearms instruction courses, concealed carry weapon (CCW) training, live-fire qualifications, and any related services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing our website, registering for a course, attending training, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to participate in most firearms-related training courses unless otherwise permitted by law and accompanied by a parent or legal guardian where required.

By registering for any course, you represent that:

1. You are legally permitted to possess and handle firearms under applicable federal, state, and local laws.
2. You are not prohibited from owning or possessing firearms.
3. All information you provide is accurate and complete.

We reserve the right to refuse service or participation to any individual at our discretion.

2. Firearms Safety and Conduct

Safety is our highest priority. All participants must comply with instructor commands, range rules, and all applicable laws at all times.

Participants agree to:

1. Handle all firearms safely and responsibly
2. Follow all instructor directions immediately
3. Keep firearms unloaded unless directed otherwise
4. Use appropriate eye and ear protection
5. Avoid reckless, negligent, unsafe, or disruptive behavior
6. Refrain from attending training under the influence of drugs or alcohol

We reserve the right to remove any participant from training without refund if their conduct is deemed unsafe, unlawful, disruptive, or inappropriate.

3. Assumption of Risk

Participation in firearms and defensive training activities involves inherent risks, including serious bodily injury, permanent disability, emotional distress, property damage, or death.

By participating in our Services, you knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with firearms training, live-fire exercises, defensive tactics instruction, and related activities.

You acknowledge that:

1. Firearms are inherently dangerous
2. Accidents may occur despite safety precautions
3. You participate voluntarily and at your own risk

4. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Case Defensive Training Group, its owners, instructors, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, host ranges, and partners from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, injuries, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to your participation in our Services.

This release includes claims arising from:

1. Personal injury
2. Property damage
3. Negligence
4. Accidental discharge
5. Equipment malfunction
6. Range incidents
7. Third-party actions

This release does not apply to conduct constituting gross negligence or intentional misconduct where prohibited by law.

5. Medical and Physical Fitness

You certify that you are physically and mentally capable of safely participating in firearms and defensive training activities.

You agree to:

1. Inform instructors of any medical conditions that could impact safety
2. Carry any necessary medications
3. Stop participation if you feel unsafe or medically unable to continue

We are not responsible for medical emergencies occurring during training.

6. Course Registration and Payment

Course fees must be paid in full unless otherwise stated.

Prices, schedules, instructors, and course availability are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to:

1. Weather
2. Safety concerns
3. Instructor availability
4. Range availability
5. Insufficient enrollment
6. Unforeseen circumstances

If we cancel a course, participants may receive a refund or transfer credit at our discretion.

7. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Unless otherwise stated:

1. Student cancellations made more than >>>>>>>>>> days before a course may qualify for a partial or full refund.
2. Cancellations made within <<<<<<<<< days of the course may be non-refundable.
3. No-shows may forfeit all fees paid.
4. Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and approval.

We reserve the right to evaluate exceptions on a case-by-case basis.

8. Certification and CCW Qualification

Completion of a course does not guarantee:

1. Issuance of a CCW permit
2. Firearms certification
3. Employment qualification
4. Approval by any law enforcement agency

Participants are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws and agency requirements.

We do not guarantee approval by any sheriff’s office, police department, or licensing authority.

9. Intellectual Property

All course materials, training content, videos, graphics, branding, logos, and website content are the property of Case Defensive Training Group unless otherwise noted.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially use our materials under any circumstance.

10. Photos and Media Release

We may photograph or record portions of classes, qualifications, or events for educational, operational, or promotional purposes.

By participating, you grant us permission to use your likeness, voice, image, or appearance in marketing materials, social media, websites, or advertisements unless you provide written notice opting out before the course begins.

11. Website Use

You agree not to:

1. Use our website for unlawful purposes
2. Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts
3. Upload malicious code or harmful material
4. Interfere with website functionality
5. Misrepresent your identity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate website access for violations of these Terms.

12. Third-Party Services

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites, payment processors, scheduling systems, or external ranges. We are not responsible for the practices, policies, or content of third-party services.

13. Disclaimer

Our Services and training are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We make no guarantees regarding:

1. Legal outcomes
2. Self-defense outcomes
3. Permit issuance
4. Course availability
5. Fitness for a particular purpose

Training is educational in nature and should not be considered legal advice.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Case Defensive Training Group and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:

1. Your participation in training
2. Your violation of these Terms
3. Your unlawful conduct
4. Your misuse of firearms or equipment

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any legal disputes arising from these Terms or our Services shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in California.

16. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms become effective upon posting to our website.

Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
